Squid/Calamari Stuffed Masala

Ingredients:

12 squids / calamari

3 onions

3 tbsp oil

3 tbsp Recheado Masala

Method:

Clean and wash the squids well. Chop the tentacles into fine pieces.

Heat two tbsp of oil let it heat medium then add onion saute till it is brown . Add the Recheado Masala and fry for another 2 minutes saute for while.

Let it cool. Next, stuff the squids and close the mouth using a toothpick.

Heat 1 tbsp. of oil in a non-stick pan and place the stuffed squids in it.

Cook covered on slow fire until tender & Serve it with white rice.

Recheado Masala

Ingredients:

12 Red Kashmiri chillies (Soak the chilly into water for 3 minutes)

6 cloves

2 two inch sticks cinnamon

11/2 tspn full turmeric powder

1 level tspn Cumin

8 cloves garlic

2 medium sized onions

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp. salt

Vinegar – as much as required to grind to a thick paste

Method:

Chop the onions fine and roast in pan with 1 tbsp on a skillet.

Put all the ingredients except the vinegar in the grinder and grind to a powder.

Then add vinegar as required so that it grinds smooth paste.
