Soya Nuggets Rolls

Stuffed Bread Rolls are all time fav favorite snack can mke for breakfast, kids tiffin box & for elder in office & tea time as well.

It Healthy-Proteinicious n first ingredients came to my mind was “Soya”..As we all know that soya are rich in proteins when compared to milk,meats,egg n other things.

Ma kids does know dis is soya as they dont like I has to force them to have but when I prepared I never keep them with me coz they comes to know n refuse to have but when I prepared she say mama it dis chicken.

Happy they like & healthy too.

Ingredients :

Bread slices   10 slices
Milk 1 tbs.
Butter 1-2 tbsp(room temp.)
Soya granules   1 cup
Onion   1 medium(finely chopped)
Cumin seeds   1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder   a pinch
Chilli powder   1/2 tsp
Garam masala   1/4 tsp
Cilantro    few finely chopped

Method :

For Soya Stuffing

Take a vessel add 4-5  cups of water & milk and allow to boil ,then add 1 cup of soya nuggets and allow to boil for some 5 minutes and rinse in fresh water,then drain and squeeze the soya nuggets completely & cut small cubes and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan,add cumin seeds allow to sputter then add finely chopped onion  n saute till light golden color.

then add drained soya n all dry powders.enough salt n stir well and fry 1-2 minutes.

Lastly add some finely chopped cilantro, mix well n turn off the stove.

Allow the soya stuffing cool completely, meanwhile prepare the bread for stuffed rolls.

Preheat the oven at 400 degree.

Now take the bread slices,remove the edges and using a rolling pin roll them lightly and cover it with a damp cloth.let it rest for 5-10 minutes and after that keep about 2 spoons of filling at one end n roll the bread tightly and seal the edges with maida water.(1 tsp maida mixed in 1/2 cup water)

Again cover the stuffed n rolled bread with a damp cloth and leave it for 5 minutes.

Then spread the butter all over the rolls and bake it for 15-20 minutes or till turn brown n crisp.
Thats it crispy soya Rolls are ready to serve now..Serve hot with Ketchup.

Note :

I add milk coz of smell in soya coz of ma kids or can add Amchur powder  a pinch while cooking.
