◇ Peas Paulo ◇

Ingredients :

1 Cup    –   Basmati / Long Grained rice

2 Onion medium   –  Finely Chopped

1 tsp.     –  ginger Paste

1 tsp.      –    garlic Paste

1/4 cup   –    green peas ( soak for 25 – 30 mint.)

4 tbsp     –    Olive oil / any oil

2 cup       –    Water

Salt to taste

1 cube   –   Maggie cube (Chicken / Vegetable).

Method :

Soak rice in water for 10 mins. Drain & keep aside.

Heat oilve oil in a pot add chopped onion sauté until onions become nice dark brown in color. Roughly about 5  mins on low flame.

Add ginger and garlic paste fry till raw smell goes . Add green peas sauté for 2 minutes.

Add water, Maggie cube / salt to taste then add the rice let it cook for 15 minutes.

Slightly mix see tht  grain should not break. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve hot with Chicken Gravy / Salad.

Note :

I don’t use turmeric coz I use Maggie cube it gives pale yellowish Color if you salt then use ½ tsp. turmeric pwd
