Salads and raitas is a all time favourite. Whenever curd is added to any salad it makes a raita. It makes a great accompaniment with the meal. So here ma favorite raita green apple & healthy too. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” meaning the fruit is good for your health.
Ma daughter favorite fruit as well she is very fond of apple. But try green apple for me it consume less time to prepare as well .
Green apple -1,chopped into small cubes
Curds -2 cups
Green chillies -2-3,chopped finely
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp,chopped finely.
Salt – to taste
Sugar – 2 tsp
Ingredients for the seasoning:
Oil -1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Asafoetida – a pinch
Mix all the ingredients except ingredients for seasoning.
Heat oil,splutter mustard seeds,add curry leaves and hing.
Season it to the raita.
