◇ Vegetable Pulao ◇


It’s a goan cuisine collection n all time ma sunshine favorite too. It taste yum.

Ingredients

2 cup basmati rice

1/3 cup green peas

1/3 cup carrot

1 tablespoon oil

2 onion medium

1 small tomato

3 bay leaves

1 cinnamon stick

10 cloves

1 mace

5 drops yellow food color

4 cup water

1 tablespoon milk

salt to taste / maggie 2 piece

Method :

Wash the rice and set aside

Heat oil in a large pan/pot and add the onion and saute till translucent. Add in the tomato and saute till light orange.

Add the spices, rice, peas, carrot and water.

Add the food color and tablespoon of milk ( help prevents the rice from getting sticky).

Let it cook on medium flame till water evaporates. Add salt to taste.

Serve with chicken or mutton.
