5 tbsp fine Rava / Rice flour.
1 1/2 tsp. chilli powder.
1 1/2 tsp . turmeric powder.
2 tbsp. lemon juice or tamarind pulp (optional).
Salt to marinate.
oil for frying.
Clean the fish and put a side slit on remove the middle bone, wash nicely and drain the water apply salt all over the fish and keep a side.
Take a bowl add chilly and turmeric pwd. and lime juice make a thick paste
Apply well over the fish. (Add more turmeric if required as this removes the stink of the fish). and let it marinate for 15 Minutes.
After 15 minutes take a plate add rava apply both the side of fish and do same process for all fish.
Tawa / frying pan add oil at medium heat add the rava coated fish and fry both side till it is done / crispy.
This fish can serve with white rice and coconut curry or dal with a dollop of pickle / or also can have with sprite drink with lime garnish or squeeze some juice of lime in sprite and relish.
No need to add egg it will bind the rava with thick paste of turmeric and chilly.
One can also use egg incase using egg discard lime juice, while marinate the fish.
Can also use Bread Crumb instead of rava.
