Coconut Curry with Teflam

Favorite Curry @ home.

Teflam is ma all time favorite specially prepared curry with coconut is prepared with a spiceberry teflam as called in konkani. Goan people are very much fond of teflam curry even v can use fish specially macreal goes very well alone with dis curry.

Teflam is grown in Goa and our neighbor has a plantation  and also available in local goan market. Fresh ones have stronger smell and taste than the dried once.

Fresh teflam are dried, stored and can be used even for a year. The husk is used and seed is discarded of dried teflam.

This is superhit curry @ ma home and love enjoyed more when we grind dis massala on granite stone.

I usually bring ma Teflam stock from goa when i go for holidays  before i go to goa my mum dry them and keep ready coz at last moment I alwys forget many things but how can i forget dis magical ingredient. “Teflam”
