This Green Chutney is very famous in goa where there is party or any occasion this chutney snacks never fails to prepare and dis is one of ma family favorite too i prepare dis in bulk and keep for ma kids to pack in their tiffin box it is jiffy to make once Chutney is store. Cilantro / Coriander leaves is one of the popular Mediterranean herb, which commonly recognized as leaf-coriander in Asia.
This green coriander chutney with coconut, mix with sugar and tangy just remind ma childhood memories ma mum use to prepare and it was terrific taste with load of love, and today i prepare dis for ma kids coz here in kuwait they too miss most of the goan food so i just want to introduce them and refreshing ma memories too.
Health Benefit for Cilantro / Coriander Leaves :
Cilantro herb is very low in calories and contains no cholesterol.
It is also rich in many vital vitamins, including folic-acid, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin-A, beta carotene, vitamin-C, which are essential for optimum health.

Lettuce leaves are one of the very low calorie green-vegetables.

Garlic cloves 3 piece
Green chillies 3 (discard if u dont like too spicy
Jeera 1/2 tsp.
Turmeric 1/2 tsp.
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Butter 3 tbsp.
Tamarind small piece
Salt to taste
Clean & Wash coriander leaves neatly.
In a Grinder add clean cilantro / coriander leaves , coconut, tamarind, green chillys, sugar, garlic cloves, turmeric pwd, jeera and salt with small amount of water and grind to fine paste.
Take a bowl add the grind chutney add 1 tbsp. butter.
Take 2 slice bread apply butter and chutney and add lettuce leave and have this yummy chutney with crunch of lettuce leave.
Put this bread slice in the sandwich maker or roast on broad pan with oil to both side of the bread.
Store this chutney for 4 to 5 days in the refrigerator.
