Coconut Curry with Fish

Coconut Fish Curry is one of my favorite, we Goan use coconut in many dish like veggie and sweets as well, i amda great lover of coconut never miss to enjoy the  fullest when  i go for holiday,  just love my mum coconut farm and have “Tender coconut ” like mama like kids 😛 my both kids just love coconut as well , they even enjoy the fresh coconut to have like chips it tastes divine, when i come back from my holiday never miss to bring the stock of fresh grated coconut to relish in Kuwait.
Well this Coconut Curry with fish is Terrific and my kids and hubby favorite too, this dish i use to relish when i was a kids and so glad that our Traditional dish love by kids, even though being away from Goa i try my best to introduce my kids our Goan Traditional Dish which i relish and they miss.
Well back to Curry do try this amazing dish for your family for regular meal menu and relish the Goan Cuisine.
Fish —1 big  (any fish cut into 4 piece or according to desire pieces)
Coconut Grated —– 1 cup
Coriander seeds —— 1 1/2 tbsp. Coriander seeds
Red Kashmiri Chilly—— 5 pieces
Cumin ———— 1/2 tsp.
Garlic cloves —— 4 pieces
Turmeric Pwd. ——— 1/2 tsp.
Tamarind ——— small ball
onion  —– 1 medium
Green chilly or bell pepper for garnish
Salt to taste
Method :
Clean and cut the fish into thin slices and apply salt and keep a side.
Take a mixer add all the above ingredient expect onion and grind into fine paste.
Meanwhile cut the onion into thin slice.
Take a pot let it heat @ medium add onion and saute till it turn to translucent, then add the grind curry paste & bring to a boil let it cook for 5 minutes.
Then add the fish and salt to taste. Lower the flame and let cook till the fish is tender.
Serve over hot white rice.
