Potatoes Flat Bread with Cuppa Coffee


Today Ma first post in 2015  & Blessed year ahead to all 🙂

Well today I share a prefect breakfast / dinner for da Terrific weather dis is one of ma home favorite paratha I make for ma family and specially in winter I also make radish as well.

Ma kids are sometime very fussy to have some veggie so I mix match and give them & thanks God at da end they really love when i do ma creation with veggies & what a mum need when their kids have a health food.

I personally  like the Kalonji Seeds the aroma of it in da whole home & when I cook or bake I alwys prefer Kalonji Seeds even when I bake bread rather then the Sesame Seeds, for ma Paratha I use Kalonji Seeds with mash Potatoes and dry mango pwd., green chilly and some fresh coriander the mix match is terrific and have dis beauty with pickle  & garnish with some radish and have warm Paratha with some Pickle / Curd &  with a Cuppa Coffee Cappuccino ma style with prefect & complete breakfast.

Ma ingredient and method Note below :

Ingredient :

Potatoes                            2 medium boiled and mashed

Whole wheat flour              2 Cup

Green chilies                     1 or 2  (chopped finely)

kashmiri chilli powder         ½ tsp

Onion                                 1 small  (chopped into small cube)

Turmeric Pwd.                    ½ tsp.

Dry mango powder             1 tsp

Kalonji Seeds                      ½ tsp.

Water                                 (as needed)

Salt as required

Coriander leaves  chopped finely

Ghee as required

Radish for Garnish

Cuppa Coffee :

Ingredient :

Coffee                 1 tbsp.

Sugar                  1 1/2. tbsp. (according to each desire)

Milk                     1 Cup

Water                  5 drops

Method :

Take a cup add coffee and sugar add 5 drop coz it has to a thick cream and if add more water it will be liquid and does come like Cappuccino style and mix with spoon till it color turn into pale and then add a hot milk and mix slowly & well here Cappuccino ma style coffee is ready.

Method For Potato Flat Bread / Paratha :

Take a bowl add the flour, salt, Kholoji seeds, water and mix the flour to form a soft pliable dough apply some ghee and rest for 10 to 15 mints.

Take a pan add some ghee add green chilly, cumin let it crack then add onion and saute for a while till it turn translucent then add the mash potatoes, chilly pwd. & add the chopped, salt to taste and close the flame and keep a side to cool down.

Put on the flame keep the Tawa on low flame. Now Take a golf ball sized dough and flatten it with a rolling pin, then add one tbsp. of potato veggie and seal it and then roll it slowing to make a circular potato flat bread / paratha dusting with some flour. And place the rolled potato flat bread / paratha on tawa, when the top potato flat bread / paratha change color flip over and add some ghee / olive oil. After 20 second flip over and press & rotate the potato flat bread / paratha with a kitchen towel potato flat bread / paratha will puff up.
Garnish with Radish & serve hot with a Ghee / Curd / Pickle for perfect combo.
