Radish Parcel dis is aws. and healthy parcel, for kids specially those who are fussy to have veggie, well i just innovate twist coz of ma kidos are very fussy for veggie, some radish was just waiting for their turn @ kitchen and was planing for kids Tiffin box and when tiffin plan come it’s very confusion what to prepare and just thought of radish parcel and did dis terrific parcel they just love coz they doesn’t know out or what if show ma Jesus end of the tiffin before having.
Health Benefits : Radishes are very good for the liver and stomach, and it acts as a powerful detoxifier, Radishes are considered roughage, which means that it is composed of indigestible carbohydrates.Radishes are very filling, which mean that they satisfy your hunger without running up your calorie count.
For the Dough:
All Purpose Flour/Maida ½ cups
Whole Wheat Flour ½ cup
Dill Leaves 2 tbsp.
Rawa/Semolina 2 to 3 tbsp
Radish extract water
Water as required
Salt as required
Mix in 1 tbsp of flour with 2 to 3 tbsp of water to form thick paste.
To make Dough:
Mix in all flour, dill leaves and salt, add the ghee and mix till you get a bread crumbs texture. Slowly add radish water (add water as required) and make a soft dough.
Knead well for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Cover and keep aside for at-least half hour.
Filling Ingredients :
Radish 200 gms (wash & grated, Leave chopped into small)
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp.
Garam masala 1 tbsp.
Turmeric 1 tsp.
Oil 3 table spoon
Wash and grate the radish squeeze and take the excess water and keep a side then chopped the leave into small and keep a side.
Take a wok add oil @ medium heat add the radish and sauté for a while then add the leaves sauté for 2 mints, then add the turmeric and garam masala, lemon and sauté for 10 minutes close the flame, let it cool.
To Make Radish Parcel :
Make a small ball from the dough and roll out, cut into two rectangles. Fill in with the radish filling and fold.
Now apply maida paste on all the four sides and place the other rectangle on top of the filling and gently press on all the sides to close tightly. I use fork once done repeat the same with all the dough.
Heat oil for deep frying and once it is hot, reduce the heat to medium and gently drop in the radish parcel one at a time. It should rise up slowly, after it rises up (about 2 minutes), turn it over.
Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes till the other side gets a golden brown color.
Turn and cook the other side for another 6 minutes or till its golden brown in color. Remove it and allow it to completely cool down and store it in airtight container.
Njoy with a Cuppa Coffee.
