Chicken Satay is thai cuisine and incredible combo with peanut butter, well Chicken Satay is my kids favorite and when we had in restaurant I personally like the taste with peanut sauce, chilly flakes it was outstanding.

But twist I marinade with peanut sauce, cook coconut milk with peanut butter, brown sugar, fine chopped garlic and onion, soya and chilly sauce, add oil while cook and cook once cool down add chilly flakes incorporate well, reserved some peanut sauce to serve while relishing chicken satay.
My kids enjoyed every bite it was well cook and juice chicken strip I can say.
Chicken Satay ingredients listed below.
Chicken breast — 500 grms. (sliced into 1/2-inch strips lengthwise).
Marinade ingredients :
Coconut milk –1 Tin (350 ml)
Peanut butter — 1/4 cup ( I made at home recipe noted below)
Vegetable oil — 1 tsp.
Onion — 1 small (chopped fine)
Light brown sugar — 2 tbsp.
Soy sauce — 1 tbsp.
Garlic clove — 1 piece (chopped fine)
Chilly Sauce — 1 tsp hot
Red chilly flakes – – 1 tbsp.
Bamboo skewers — 15 to 16 (soaked in water for 30 minutes prior to use).
Slice chicken into long thin slices, approximately 1/4″ thick and 2″ in length. &
Wash n dry with kitchen towels keep a side.
Take pan add coconut milk, peanut butter, garlic, onion, brown sugar, vegetable oil, soya sauce, chilly sauce.
Switch on the flame at low heat cook the above ingredients mix in pan, approximately 3 – 4 mintues., then switch off the flame let it cool completely,then add chilly flakes, incoporate well.
Take peanut sauce in one small bowl aside to serve with chicken.
And remaining sauce add chicken and let it marinade for half an hour or over night
Preheat the oven to 180°, take a baking rack apply oil and keep it in oven to preheat.
Take a soak skewer, it is important to soak otherwise it burn while baking the chicken, take one slice of peanut sauce marinade chicken add to skewer, like sticking clothes like needle n cloth.
Take a baking rack, add chicken satay cook for 5 minute and then flip on other side and cook for another 5 minute (all together 10 minutes).
Take the chicken satay in chicken satay in a plate and serve with peanut sauce ( which took a side while marinade chicken) and relish the juicy chicken satay with peanut sauce.
For Peanut Butter
Peanut butter is the most versatile ingredients, going well with a savoury flavours as it does with sweet. well i had a peanut bag @ home so thought of doing ma own peanut butter and want some granulated which i had was not granulate so try ma own, for list u need for peanut butter is listed below.
Peanut — 2 Cups
Peanut oil — 3 tbsp.
Salt a pinch
Sugar to taste.
Take a blender add the peanut and peanut oil and blend for 3 second, don’t make fine paste, it should be granulate, and then take it in a bowl stir add bit salt and sugar to taste.
